For Dr Mrs. Ajoke Ogunsan, discovering Sheye Oladejo was not just about finding a fashion designer. It marked the beginning of a relationship built on trust, creativity, elegance, and genuine connection.
Her journey began in 2020 during the COVID period, while preparing for her 40th birthday celebration. Like many people at the time, movement was restricted, and most interactions happened online. While browsing Instagram for inspiration, she came across our page.
What immediately stood out to her was the timeless elegance and intentionality in the designs.
“There was something about the work that felt timeless,” “I instantly connected with the designs and knew this was someone I wanted to work with,” she recalls.
After reaching out on Instagram, her first conversation with Us left a lasting impression. Beyond the designs, she experienced calmness, professionalism, and a respectful approach that made her confident in her decision.
She went ahead to arrange for her driver to pick me up at my office here in Lagos so we could begin planning her 40th birthday outfits.
That first project became the foundation of a relationship that has now lasted over six years.
For her milestone celebration, four custom pieces were created, each one capturing elegance and sophistication. Years later, those images and outfits still remain timeless.
Since then, we’ve been part of many meaningful moments in her life and in her family's celebrations. From her daughters’ prom dresses to graduation outfits, each piece has been crafted with intention, precision, and beauty.
One thing she often highlights is the ability to bring vision to life.
“Once you explain what you want, it comes out exactly as imagined.” “By the time you come for fittings, everything is already on point,” she says.
